26th Golf Day Wrap-Up

AUD $50k goes to Lifeline H2H

Our latest International Dinner Evening held at Gordon Lebanese Cuisine, a local restaurant, provided the opportunity for us to present a cheque for AUD $50,000 to Wendy Carver, CEO Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury, our Principal Beneficiary for 2010-2011.

This came from the proceeds from our Charity Golf Day and Gala Dinner which was held in November.

That we have been able to raise this amount of money is a tribute to the generosity of our Golf Day Sponsors and to the tireless efforts of Michael MacQuillan and his committee members. Thank you one and all!

Peter Timmermann
President 2010-2011

With minimal government funding, every year Lifeline H2H struggles to raise enough finds to maintain current services and respond to ever-growing community needs. The extraordinary amount of money raised by The Rotary Club of Chatswood at this year's Golf Day will enable us to continue operating all our services, help everyday families in crisis, and save lives.
