60 yrs of History

Our 6th Decade

Our Sixth Decade 1998-99 to 2007-08 was published in 2010. The initial drafts were prepared by the respective Presidents. Our gratitude to Gerard Say, President 2008-09, who took these drafts and compiled them into the final document. Gerard also volunteered to sort through the many photographs which had been taken over the 10 year period and choose those which illustrate the activities of each Rotary Year.

Our First 50 Years

The First 50 Years was published in 1998. An important member of the committee was the late Arthur Chaffer who, at the time, was our only surviving Charter Member. Arthur served as President in 1956-57 and was able to add personal recollections of 50 years of service. The publication was edited by Gordon Waterhouse, President 1991-92, and the photos and illustrations were edited by Bob Mugdan, President 1977-78.
