This year The Rotary Club of Chatswood welcomed to our awards evening Mayor of Willoughby City, Cr Pat Reilly, and District 9680 Chair Vocational Service, David Firth.
David spoke about the Pride of Workmanship programme and Mayor Pat presented the awards to our two recipients.
The Pride of Workmanship programme was launched 35 years ago and the aim then, as it is today, is to encourage and foster personal pride in work performance and so to create pride in the quality of workmanship throughout the nation.
Rotary's role is to provide the opportunity for employers and individuals to recognise the contributions of employees who consistently achieve a high standard of work performance. The guidelines that have been developed embrace all aspects of work performance and ethics, including quality, output, safety, initiative and sense of responsibility.

| Mayor Pat Reilly presents Neil with his award |
Neil has worked for Sunnyfield for over 17 years. He is well known by the people we support, families, carers and staff as a most friendly and approachable easy-going fellow who is only too willing to assist and can be relied upon in any situation.
He has contributed significantly to Sunnyfield Enterprises and the creation of meaningful work for over 300 people, primarily with an intellectual disability. His responsibilities include the organisation of workplace improvements such as OH&S and capital projects. Neil's efforts help ensure that Sunnyfield Enterprises continues as a viable and valuable customer focused business.
It is a privilege and an honour for me to work with him.

| Kevin's employers, Grant and Sharon Stanford accept the award on Kevin's behalf |
Snap Printing, Anderson Street, Chatswood have served local businesses and the community over many years.
The quality of the Snap range of printing products from business cards to visual displays has defined them as a leader in their field.
To achieve this however, a business requires good, dedicated personnel.
Their counter front man, Kevin Popham, has portrayed a pride of workmanship over a long period of time. He attends to Snap's clients with a smile and with an attitude that suggests nothing is ever too much trouble.
He has a polite and outgoing personality and his proactive responses, efficiency and assistance in emergencies have not gone unnoticed.
He is a worthy recipient of this Award.
