About Us

The Rotary Club of Chatswood Inc was chartered on 29 July, 1948 and has been continuously active in its communities ever since. The Club is led by by a President who is elected annually and administered by a Board of Directors.

Over the years we have assisted our local and international community in a wide range of areas. Some achievements of which we are very proud include the planning and building of a Senior Citizens' Activity Centre (the first of its kind), raising substantial funds for bush fire disaster relief, financing an organ transplant seminar and many more projects of this kind.

Meet our President for 2011-12

Michael MacQuillan has been a member of the Chatswood community for many years (born in Chatswood, worked in Chatswood). He is an active Rotarian as he likes to “give something back” to the community and is a regular organiser & contributor to the Annual Chatswood Rotary Charity Golf Day (amongst other events). Michael is married to Karyn and they have 4 children at school and university. Professionally, Michael is a Financial Adviser and partner in Priority Planners at Chatswood; providing financial advice to Australians since 1988.
