2011 Charity Golf Day and Gala Dinner
The Rotary Club of Chatswood in association with Chatswood Chamber of Commerce was proud to host our 27th Annual Charity Golf Day and Gala Dinner which was held on Monday, 24 October 2011 at Pymble Golf Club. Located in the heart of Sydney's beautiful north shore residential district, Pymble Golf Club is regarded as one of the finest inland courses in Australia.
Once again the day combined an Ambrose Event followed by a Gala Dinner and Charity Auction and this year featured Peter FitzSimons as guest speaker.
The Cause:
Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury provides vital services in crisis mental health support and suicide prevention to people living on the north side of Sydney who, for a variety of reasons, are struggling to survive. Lifeline's services SAVES LIVES in our local community.
Our Guest Speaker:
Peter FitzSimons, a former Wallaby rugby international is one of Australia's most prominent and successful media and publishing identities. His busy professional life involves writing for the Sydney Morning Herald, Sun Herald and London's Daily Telegraph newspapers, appearing on Foxtel's Back Page sports show and authoring best-selling books such as Kokoda and Tobruk.
