Past Projects

There are so many worthwhile projects in which Chatswood Rotary have been involved, however below are a few highlights.

Rotary Club of Chatswood War Memorial Athletic Field

Planned and constructed the Rotary Club of Chatswood War Memorial Athletic Field on the corner of Mowbray and Epping Roads.[Total equates to $2.8M in today’s money.] 1964-1967. The photos below show the bulldozers at work during 1962-63 (in all over 5,000 cubic yards (approximately 4,000 cubic metres) of earth and sandstone were removed) and the athletic field as it is today.
